So I managed to prototype this today, but I'm not sure as to its performance. Anyone out there running amavisd-new in a postfix environment care to comment on how well its performed for you?

Hi scott,

what would you like to know?
I can confirm one thing local caching DNS is a must if you have remote tests on. :)

What kind of load does it put on the system? How are you handling configuring it for your users?

Sorry for the late reply. Too busy these days :(
We've ported our very very old system to postfix + amavisd_new. As the controlpanel was written inhouse I just had to change the parts about antivirus and spam filtering to write the settings to the amavisd_new db.

As the load goes. I think that this explains it pretty much:)
Code:
