 Post subject: ASL Installation Problem

Hi,

i have problems with the installation under Ubuntu Server 10.04 - 64Bit. I have tried the following code:

wget -q -O - https://www.atomicorp.com/installers/asl |sh

But i get the following error:

cat: /etc/redhat-release: No such file or directory
[: 30: Illegal number:
sh: function: not found

[: 57: unexpected operator

I dont know why this error comes. Can somone help me :)

Thank you for the question, Ubuntu is not a supported platform with ASL, however ASL-Lite is. So you want to install ASL-Lite on your Ubuntu system.

If you ever not sure what is supported, please see the list of supported platforms with ASL please see the product page here:

As of July 2011, ASL is officially supported with:

Centos 4, 5 and 6.
Redhat Linux 4, 5 and 6.
Scientific Linux 5 and 6
CloudLinux
Trixbox
Amazon EC2


And as I mentioned, ASL-Lite is supported on Ubuntu.
