Hello to all,

Its been a long time check out this website. I found that in the project page, I dun see the "PSA qmail-scanner integration project" anymore. Is it stopped?

Can someone give me some info on what is the project status. Previously i've installed PSA qmail-scanner integration project and now wish to check out for update but din see the project anymore. Feels like an orphan...

Someone please help me a bit on what should I do to keep my PSA qmail-scanner integration up-to-date. Thanks in advance.

My current YUM config file is as below:

Quote:
# THIS CHANNEL CONTAINS MY PSA COMPATIBLE RPMS (php, mysql, qmail-scanner, etc)
[atomic]
name=Atomic Rocket Turtle - $releasever - Atomic PSA-Compatible RPMS
baseurl=http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomic/art/$releasever/

Lesz

On no not at all, I just havent finished copying all the project pages over from postnuke yet. If you look at the RSS feed on the main site, you'll see I just put together q-s 2.01 in the atomic-bleeding channel. I'm working on some major improvements in the next release, to go along with the new features in 2.01.

Breun: You want the RSS at the top of the page that says "Archive Changelog".

Griffith: big changes are I put together an external config file, that stores your settings. No need to tinker around with the qmail-scanner-queue.pl script any more, so an update to qmail-scanner wont require you to go back in and customize qmail-scanner. I'm also changing it over to use a dedicated scanner user, qscand, which eases integration with psa-spamassassin. New features from the q-s folks and salvator, better support for SA settings stored in mysql, and a bizzare implementation of greylisting that I havent figured out a use for.

Lesz: not sure what you're asking there, since there isnt really a config file in 1.5 :P

Hi Scott,

I found that my spamd eat up lots of my CPU resources and it'll cause my server hang. I'm planning to upgrade new hardware now but at the mean time, I wish to disable my spamd to avoid it to hit my server to 20.00 average load.

P/S: How to check my current "PSA qmail-scanner integration project" is what version? Please advice, thank you.

Regards,
Lesz
