Red Hat and CentOS have upgraded their spamassassin package to version 3.3.1 for EL5: https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2011-1035.html

Sadly the spamassassin 3.2.5 package in the stable atomic channel is 'blocking' this update because it has an epoch of 1, whereas the RHEL/CentOS package doesn't. If you want to upgrade to SpamAssassin 3.3.1 you'll either need to exclude spamassassin in your atomic configuration or get it from atomic-testing.

Note that the SpamAssassin 3.3.1 package from RHEL/CentOS does not have the update cronjob enabled by default, you need to enable this by uncommenting the sa-update command in /etc/cron.d/sa-update.
