Hello I am trying to install my 30 trial on a brand new fresh install of Centos 6.3 with cPanel 11.32.4.15.

I have run the install script, and it installed many of the dependencies but after running for a moment or two, it came up with these errors:

Code:
Transaction Check Error:
file /usr/bin/unhide from install of unhide-20110113-1.el6.art.x86_64 conflicts with file from package lp-unhide-20110113-0.x86_64
file /usr/bin/unhide-tcp from install of unhide-20110113-1.el6.art.x86_64 conflicts with file from package lp-unhide-20110113-0.x86_64
file /etc/cron.daily/rkhunter from install of rkhunter-1.4.0-8.el6.art.noarch conflicts with file from package lp-rkhunter-5:1.3.8-1.noarch
file /etc/rkhunter.conf from install of rkhunter-1.4.0-8.el6.art.noarch conflicts with file from package lp-rkhunter-5:1.3.8-1.noarch
file /var/lib/rkhunter/db/backdoorports.dat from install of rkhunter-1.4.0-8.el6.art.noarch conflicts with file from package lp-rkhunter-5:1.3.8-1.noarch
file /var/lib/rkhunter/db/i18n/cn from install of rkhunter-1.4.0-8.el6.art.noarch conflicts with file from package lp-rkhunter-5:1.3.8-1.noarch
file /var/lib/rkhunter/db/i18n/en from install of rkhunter-1.4.0-8.el6.art.noarch conflicts with file from package lp-rkhunter-5:1.3.8-1.noarch
file /var/lib/rkhunter/db/mirrors.dat from install of rkhunter-1.4.0-8.el6.art.noarch conflicts with file from package lp-rkhunter-5:1.3.8-1.noarch
file /var/lib/rkhunter/db/programs_bad.dat from install of rkhunter-1.4.0-8.el6.art.noarch conflicts with file from package lp-rkhunter-5:1.3.8-1.noarch

While looking in the console screen, I also noticed these errors up above, so I am not sure if they also matter:

Code:
bandmin-1.6.1-5.noarch has missing requires of perl(bandmin.conf)
bandmin-1.6.1-5.noarch has missing requires of perl(bmversion.pl)
bandmin-1.6.1-5.noarch has missing requires of perl(services.conf)
exim-4.77-1.x86_64 has missing requires of perl(SafeFile)
frontpage-2002-SR1.2.i386 has missing requires of libexpat.so.0

Please help, I really am looking forward to trying this out. Let me know any other information you may need from my setup to diagnose.

You'll need to remove those packages first, they arent anything Ive seen before. Any idea where they came from?

I guess they were installed by default. I just set this machine up from a brand new image from Liquid Web. The only thing I did prior to trying to install ASL, was to update the default os and packages using, 'yum update' and then update cPanel using the built in updater. That's it.

ok i have resolved the first group of errors, by yum remove [package name] for each one. But the second group of errors persists. Apparently it is a known issue with cpanel on centOs 6.

Issue has been resolved, cpanel default repos had to be restored.
