kmod-open-vm-tools dependency not up to date

The description of kmod-open-vm-tools says:

However, it seem this package has not been updated to depend on the latest ASL kernel:

kmod-open-vm-tools-2.6.32.28-1.art.x86_64 >= 0.0.0.301124-1.8

The latest kmod-open-vm-tools package is currently kmod-open-vm-tools-2.6.32.59-17.art.x86_64-0.0.0.301124-1.1.17.x86_64, but the latest kmod-open-vm-tools package still depends on kmod-open-vm-tools-2.6.32.28-1.art.x86_64 >= 0.0.0.301124-1.8.

The problem is the 0.0.0.301124-1.8 version of kmod-open-vm-tools in the repository, which really should have been 0.0.0.301124-1.1.8 looking at the rest of the versions.

I've 'fixed' this by adding the following to the [asl-3.0] section in /etc/yum.repos.d/asl.repo:
