Is there any more info on the "reset disable_functions if set to warn-only (undo basically)" bug fix in ASL 3.2?

Thanks for the question. Setting PHP_CHECKS to no in 3.2.0, will undo changes ASL made to disable_functions.

3.2.1 will remove all the php.ini changes ASL has made.

will an upgrade to 3.2.1 affect the current ASL-modified disabled_functions ?

No. 3.2.1 just gives you a global undo option, by switching back to warn mode.
