The first 0.1 installer is ready for testing. The current state of the program is very much in a frequent change mode and incomplete, testers need to be aware that this is non-production code at this time. That means there is no back-out plan, if it breaks something about all we can do is make a note of it and move on.

Testers will need a valid ASL (full) subscription (ASL-Lite subscriptions will not work), trial or otherwise and CentOS 5 x86_64 (other Linux distributions will be available when we make the official release). The installer must be run the following way:

wget -q -O - http://www.atomicorp.com/installers/cpanel/installer |sh

Do not save this file locally. It is a dynamic installer, and is frequently updated, so only use the command above to install it.

NOTE: This is for ASL not ASL-Lite. ASL-Lite is already stable for cpanel, this is for the beta version of ASL. If you are using ASL-Lite please download the stable version of ASL-Lite from here:

We've made a huge number of updates to this today, far too many to list. Thanks so much to the testers that have jumped in so far! We couldn't get this far this fast without your help

No idea :P You'd be the first person to test with that config. Just run the installer and see what happens

You may want to remove your current modsec configuration.

i'm tring to install the beta on my cPanel server with CentOS 64 bits but i can't. When the script tries to download xml files from AtomiCorp server it fails due to .htaccess protection.. I obtained a free trial pass, clicking on buy link in atomic homepage, but this key doen't pass the .htaccess verification..

When do i need to request an access key??
Thanks!!

It should just be your ASL Trial username & password. You can reset it through the License Manager https://www.atomicorp.com/support/license-manager.html

or if you need extra help on that you can contact support@atomicorp.com

Yeah it'd be nice to get on a system if you have any installer problems. Figuring out what cpanel does to the system, and hooking it is a pretty complicated process
